Placement & Support

The Placement and Support (P&S) Program offers a variety of programs based on providing safe and supportive care for children and young people who are unable to live with their own family for a period of time.

The young people who are most likely to require support from the P&S program are:

- those who are in crisis as a result of family break-down,
- those who need protection from neglect or abusive situations,
- those who are homeless and require accommodation, support and/or supervision whilst on bail and
- those who are leaving or have left the statutory care system.

The P&S Program delivers five main areas of support to vulnerable children and young people:

- Adolescent Community Placement
- Residential Care
- Intensive Case Management Service (ICMS)
- Leaving Care / After Care
- Carer Recruitment & Training
