MALLEE Accommodation and Support Program (MASP) has launched the organisation’s maiden Impact Measurement Report – a reflection of MASP’s work in the community and its effect on those the organisation serves.
The report shows the evidence of the impact created by MASP’s work in the community, with its associated framework outlining the method in which that impact is measured.
These documents go hand in hand to help capture the tangible change MASP has had on clients by combining service data with the voices and stories of those the organisation has helped.
“One of MASP’s Strategic Plan goals focuses on Learning for Impact, which is exactly what this report achieves,” MASP CEO Charmaine Calis said. “Through impact measurement, we are embedding evidence, data, and learning into our practice. By doing this we grow that impact and ensure our work is accountable, transparent, and responsive to community needs.”
Mrs Calis paid tribute to MASP’s board of directors for their vision for the organisation to better reflect on the impact of its work.
“This report has been something our board has long been looking for as a way for us to truly capture the effect our work has on our clients and the changes in their lives it makes,” she said. “Developing this report is part of our commitment to form a better understanding of our impact, strengthen our accountability to our partners and funders, and continually improve the difference we make.”
